Tracy Lawrence Returns to DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel In Bossier City!

(Bossier City, LA) December 8, 2015- DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel is proud to announce the return of American country singer Tracy Lawrence. He will perform in concert at Legends Theatre on Friday, February 12 at 8pm.

Singer and songwriter Tracy Lawrence has celebrated 20 years in the country music industry. He has 22 songs that have been on the billboard top ten charts, and eighteen #1 singles including “Sticks and Stones” and “Texas Tornado.” In 2006, he opened his own recording studio with his brother/manager, called Rocky Country Records. His first single with the label “Find out who your friends are” was released in 2007 and reached #1 that same year. In 2009, he was nominated for a Grammy in the best southern, country or bluegrass gospel category for his album “The Rock.” The Multi-platinum recording artist began going on tour in January 2014 to promote his recently released album Headlights, Taillights and Radio. This album has brought a new sound for Tracy Lawrence, one that is evolving with the change of country music and its fans.

The Dazz Band to Perform at DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel In Bossier City!

(Bossier City, LA) December 2, 2015- DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel is proud to present The Dazz Band. They will perform in concert at Legends Theatre, Saturday, January 16 at 8pm.

The Dazz Band is an 80's American funk group based out of Ohio. They came up with their name by blending the words Danceable Jazz together, and that is what this music is about. They are known for songs like "Joystick", "Let it all blow" and their Grammy award winning song "Let it whip." This song also topped the #1 R&B music charts. They have performed on various TV shows like Soultrain and American Bandstand. Bobby Harris who founded The Dazz Band organized "United We Funk All Stars" a movement to keep funk alive in the US among the new Rap/ hip hop sound. This group brought a rebirth of American funk and groups like Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band and the Dazz Band.

(Bossier City, LA) December 1, 2015- DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel presents MMA Legacy Fighting Championship. The Mixed Martial Arts event will take place in Legends Theatre on Friday, December 4 at 7pm. The main event will begin at 9pm. Weigh in will be Thursday, December 3 at 5:30pm in Agave.

MMA Legacy Fighting Championship is based out of Houston, TX. The night will consist of 14 professional mixed martial arts fights, and will conclude with two big main events, where both fights will be competing for the title. For the LFC Welterweight World Championship the fighters are Derrick Krantz vs. Alex Morono. Krantz is a Marshall, TX native and will be competing to keep his World Championship title. For the Ladies LFC Flyweight World Championship, the fight will be Ariel Beck vs. Andrea Lee. Lee is a Bossier City, LA native and will be fighting for the title. The event will be nationally televised on AXS TV. This is a sold out event! Doors will open at 6pm.

(Bossier City, LA) August 6, 2015- The river is down and the winnings ahead! DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel is happy to announce its 9th Anniversary Celebration and the removal of their temporary ramp Tuesday, August 11!

Due to the historic flooding that occurred in May, DiamondJacks installed a makeshift ramp to access the casino during high waters. Now that the river is down again, on Tuesday August 11, this temporary ramp will officially be removed! To celebrate this temporary ramp removal, as well as it being DiamondJacks 9th Anniversary month, marketing will be handing out free cupcakes to guests starting at 2pm. Guests are also welcome to participate in the $250 cash drawings from 2-8pm. (Bossier City, LA) June 26, 2015- DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel is proud to present the World’s Best Young Elvis-Travis LeDoyt. He will perform in Legends Theatre Saturday, August 8 at 8pm.

Travis LeDoyt was named the World’s Best Young Elvis by The New York Times. He not only looks like Elvis Presley but he sings, dances and acts like him as well. Travis impersonates the young Elvis when he was in his prime, when he transitioned from being unknown to a star. This musical production will feature songs from Elvis’s classic movies like “Jailhouse Rock” and “Teddy Bear.” This show is sure to get you on your feet dancing. W.S Holland, the drummer for Johnny Cash, is quoted saying, “Of all the people I’ve seen do Elvis material, this boy is more like him than anybody.”
