DIAMOND RIO PERFORMS AT DIAMONDJACKS CASINO AND HOTEL IN BOSSIER CITY!

DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel is proud to present Grammy award winning country/ Christian music group Diamond Rio. They will be performing in concert at Legends Theatre on Saturday, May 10 at 8pm.

American country music group Diamond Rio consists of 6 members’; lead singer Marty Roe, guitarist Jimmy Olander, drummer Brian Prout, keyboardist Dan Truman, bassist harmony Dana Williams and Gene Johnson on mandolin harmony. They have been honored six times for Vocal group of the year and have multiple #1 hits including “I believe” and “Beautiful Mess”. Diamond Rio is the only group in country music history to reach #1 with their debut single “Meet in the Middle.” They have sold over 10 million albums, 3 platinum records, 5 gold records and have over 30 singles on the billboard charts. They have been honored with 14 Grammy nominations and they won their first Grammy in 1991 for their album The Reason. This album also recognized the band with their first Dove award.

Not only is this group great musically they also are also the national spokesman for Big Brother, Big Sister Children’s Charity Group and they have raised over $1.5 million dollars for this cause.

Due to a medical condition, regretfully the Chris Cagle show scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel in Bossier City, LA has been cancelled. At this time there is no plan to reschedule the performance. Guests that purchased tickets through ticketmaster.com will receive a refund.

DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel will be hosting a number of performances in our Legends Theatre throughout 2014. Some shows coming up in April and May are; Travis LeDoyt: World’s Best Young Elvis on April 19, the party cover band Chee Weez on April 25. We also have county music band Diamond Rio performing May 10, and for those ladies looking for a fun girl’s night out, we have Hunks: The Show performing on May 31. In 1979, Mickey Thomas joined Paul Kantner to form Jefferson Starship.

FREE PARTY FEATURING THE CHEE-WEEZ AT
DIAMONDJACKS-BOSSIER CITY!

(Bossier City, LA)- June 25, 2013- New Orleans favorite cover band, The Chee-Weez, will perform a FREE show on Friday, July 26 from 9-11pm at DiamondJacks Legends Theatre.

The Chee-Weez is a 5 piece cover/show band that formed in 1997 in New Orleans. They specialize in making sure YOU - the audience - have a great time and leave with a smile. The Chee-Weez covers a variety of music from the 80s, 90s and today.

This will be a free show for Rewards Club members age 21 and older. Guests may sign up for a free Rewards Club card at DiamondJacks Rewards Club. Reward Club hours are, Sunday-Thursdays from 8am-10pm or Friday & Saturday from 8am-12am.
