(Bossier City, LA) September 29, 2016- DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel is proud to present singer, songwriter and musician Bret Michaels. He will perform in concert at Legends Theatre on Veteran’s Day Friday, November 11 at 8pm.
Bret Michaels is most recognized by his long blonde hair and signature bandana. He is best known for being the lead singer for the band Poison. Some of their top hits include “Something To Believe In”, “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” “Unskinny Bop” and “Talk Dirty To Me.” Their hit “Every Rose has its Thorn” Was #1 on the billboard 100. He eventually broke off from the band to pursue a solo career where he released a number of albums including Custom Built, which reached #1 for the Top Hard Rock Albums. With his successful musical career Hit Parader ranked him #40 for greatest heavy metal singers of all time.
When not playing music he has been on a variety of television shows and movies. Some more notable ones are Rock of Love seasons 1-3 starring Bret Michaels looking to find love. He was the winner of Celebrity Apprentice in season 3, which won him $640,000 for the American Diabetes Association. He was also a judge for Nashville Star.
Beyond music Bret Michaels participates in many charitable organizations and has a number of merchandise lines. He does extensive work for Operation Homefront, which provides financial aid and assistance to service members and the wounded warriors. He has a luggage line, and sells a pet clothing line at Pet Smart called Pets Rock. He is a singer, actor, and entrepreneur. He is a triple threat, and a man that is always looking for ways to better his community.

(Bossier City, LA) June 28, 2016- DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel presents MMA Legacy Fighting Championship. The Mixed Martial Arts event will take place in Legends Theatre on Friday, July 1 at 7pm. The main event will begin at 9pm. Weigh in will be Thursday, June 30 at 12pm in Agave.
MMA Legacy Fighting Championship is based out of Houston, TX. The night will consist of 14 professional mixed martial arts fights, and will conclude with two big main events, where one of the fights will be competing for the title. In the Flyweight World Championship, the fight will be Kevin “Angel of Death” Aguilar vs. Tony “Prime Time” Kelley. Aguilar is a Longview, TX native. Kelley is a Shreveport, LA native. Tony Kelley was also on the popular MTV show “Caged” based out of Minden, LA. They both will be fighting for the title. For the LFC Welterweight fight the fighters are Dave “the Duke” Burrows vs. Derrick “D-Rock” Krantz. Krantz is a Marshall, TX native and is a former Legacy Welterweight Champion who competed last year at DiamondJacks. Burrow’s is an Arkansas native. The event will be nationally televised on AXS TV. The show is sold out. Doors will open at 6pm.

Peninsula Pacific acquires DiamondJacks Casino in Bossier City
(Bossier City, LA) June 22, 2016 - Peninsula Pacific, through PGP Investors, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary, Legends Holdings, LLC, announced today that it has acquired Legends Gaming, LLC and all ownership shares of Louisiana Riverboat Gaming Partnership, d/b/a/ DiamondJacks Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana.
DiamondJacks Casino is comprised of a gaming floor with more than 1,000 slot machines and 20 table games, a hotel of over 500 rooms and suites along with accompanying dining and entertainment venues.
M. Brent Stevens of Peninsula Pacific said of his company's acquisition, "Peninsula Pacific is extremely enthusiastic to once again be involved in the Louisiana gaming, entertainment and hospitality industry."
"The opportunity to acquire DiamondJacks was the result of the purchase of the debt of Legends at the end of 2015. We view this moment of now acquiring the equity and control of DiamondJacks as the natural next step to enable us to improve the operations and to assess the property and license with the fundamental goal of maximizing their long term potential for the benefit of our investors, the employees of DiamondJacks, our customers and the local and state government.
