(Bossier City, LA)- November 9, 2011- Country music star, Glen Campbell will perform on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at DiamondJacks Legends Theatre.

Becoming a bonafide living legend isn’t as easy as Glen Campbell has made it look over the years. His musical history and success has proven his strongly built foundation of talent along with being noted as one of the most prolific guitarists in the world.

Lush string arrangements and smooth vocals are hallmarks of Campbell’s styles. These pop-friendly qualities have made him successful on both the mainstream and the country music charts. In a 60-year career, Campbell has sold 45 million albums and enjoyed 81 top ten hits including, “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman” and “Gentle on My Mind.” Campbell made history by winning four Grammys in both country and pop categories in 1967, was named the Male Vocalist of the Year from both CMA and ACM and took home the CMA’s top honor as 1968 Entertainer of the Year. In the mid-1970s, his largest selling single, “Rhinestone Cowboy” hit over two million copies within a matter of months and continues to be used in movies, soundtracks and popular TV shows today, including, “ Desperate Housewives,” Daddy Day Care and High School High. Campbell was ranked 29th on CMT’s 40 Greatest Men of Country Music and in 2005, Campbell was inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Now at age 75, Campbell revealed that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and decided it was time for him to hang up his hat. While dealing with the realities of this degenerative disease, he has now embarked on a final tour to say thank you to his fans, “The Glen Campbell Tour along with celebrating the success of his recent released final studio album, Ghost on the Canvas which is filled with beauty, power, heartfelt emotion and deep spirituality and traces the arc of Campbell’s 75 years.
