DIAMONDJACKS CASINO- BOSSIER EXECUTIVE CHEF CHOSEN AS THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER OF THE SOUTH’S FEATURED CHEF!

(Bossier City, LA)- June 26, 2013- If you’re a fan of flavor, the Multicultural Center of the South’s Taste of Culture fundraiser will surely spark your interest and whet your appetite. Plus, as an added bonus, DiamondJacks’ own Chef Gunter Kilian has been selected to serve as the event’s featured chef.

“I am especially excited and honored to be chosen as the Featured Chef of the Multicultural Center of the South’s Taste of Culture event. I enjoy sharing the foods of my homeland, Germany. My initial training in Baden Baden, Black Forest introduced me to my most prized dishes; those of which, I’ll be preparing for this occasion. Those items will include Flammenkuchen & Käsespätzle.” expressed DiamondJacks’ Chef Gunter Kilian.

This annual event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at DiamondJacks Casino & Resort from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $50 and include an evening of dining on culinary dishes from a variety of ethnic groups and countries including African American, Cajun, China, Creole, Greece, Hispanic, Ireland, India, Japan, Korea, Mediterranean, Native American, Philippines, Scotland and Turkey. Entertainment will be provided by local cultural organizations. There’s no question why this scrumptious treat offering a taste of diversity and culture, has proven its raving review as one of the more popular events in Northwest Louisiana.

This fundraiser supports the year-round educational programs of the Multicultural Center of the South. The Multicultural Center of the South is a grand experiment in community development, providing services such as intercultural events, diversity training, and youth oriented outreach programs that teach acceptance of others which collectively educate all about the positive benefits associated with the unique perspectives that each culture brings to the table. The MCCS houses a beautiful display of historical items from each of the 26 identified cultural groups showcasing artifacts and relics reflecting its history and values.
