William J. McEnery, Chairman
Mr. McEnery, who has held gaming licenses in IL, IN, MS, MO, LA and CO, was a founding partner and Director of Empress Casinos in Joliet, IL and Hammond, IN. He was also a founding partner of Argosy Gaming Company.
Mr. McEnery is currently the owner-operator of McEnery Enterprises, LLC, a conglomerate that was founded in 1966 when he opened his first Gas City service station. He was one of the first independent petroleum marketers in the Chicagoland area to combine the convenience store concept with gas station operations. He now operates 44 Gas City stores and 5 truck stops in the Chicagoland area, northeastern Indiana, Florida and Arizona, many of which have car wash and restaurant facilities. Other companies owned and operated by Mr. McEnery include: A.D. Connor, Inc, a petroleum hauling firm; Green Gardens Country Club, a 45-hole golf course and restaurant in Frankfort, IL; Holiday Inn Express in Benson, AZ; and Black Tie Event Services, Inc., a national provider of elegant restroom facilities to clients that include the PGA tour, NASCAR and “The Walk for Breast Cancer.”
Mr. McEnery also has significant investments in several downtown Chicago restaurants, south suburban ice cream stores and other restaurants, residential real estate developments and other hotel ventures. He also has interests in McEnery Aviation, LLC, WJM Leasing, LLC (equipment and truck leasing operations) and Bell Valley Farms harness race horses and stables. McEnery is also the second largest stockholder of and serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Standard Bank & Trust Company in Hickory Hills, IL.
Michael E. Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kelly is a seasoned industry executive with over 23 years of gaming experience. He has held various positions within the gaming industry including COO, CFO and GM. He has been involved in start-up and development of numerous casino and hotel properties. Mr. Kelly worked for Empress Casinos as its original CFO from 1991-1994 where he first met and worked with Mr. McEnery. From 1996 to 2004 he served initially as CFO and then as COO of The Majestic Star Casino, LLC and its affiliates, a new jurisdictional start-up gaming company that under his leadership and direction grew into a national gaming company with assets in Indiana, Colorado, Mississippi and Nevada. Mr. Kelly has a successful history of turning around properties that under-perform the market as evidenced by the success he achieved with the acquisition and turnaround strategy he employed with the acquisition of the Fitzgerald’s properties by Majestic Star. Mr. Kelly has held various gaming licenses in Nevada, Indiana, Colorado, Mississippi, Illinois, Louisiana and New Jersey.
G. Dan Marshall, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Marshall maintains 28 years of Wall Street securities and investment banking and over 10 years of casino management experience. In February 1993, he joined Argosy located in Alton, IL, where he served as VP, Treasurer and Director of Investor Relations until his retirement in May 2003. Mr. Marshall, while at Argosy, worked on new development projects including the company’s Lawrenceburg filings with the Indiana Gaming Commission. After a brief retirement period, Mr. Marshall joined the firm of McEnery Enterprises, LLC as EVP and CFO. Mr. Marshall held an Illinois gaming license and is currently licensed in Colorado, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Raymond C. Cook, Executive Vice President of Administration & Chief Information Officer
Mr. Cook originally was with The Majestic Star Casino, LLC where he served as Corporate Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. At Majestic Star he was responsible for the strategic direction of five casinos operating in Indiana, Mississippi, Colorado and Nevada. Mr. Cook has over 20 years of experience working in various capacities in the information technology and finance fields, including over ten years in the gaming industry. At the Company, Mr. Cook is responsible for overseeing corporate administration including human resources, risk management, regulatory compliance, finance and information technology. Mr. Cook originally joined the Company in April 2006 as our Chief Information Officer.
Domenic Ricciardelli, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Bossier City Property
Mr. Ricciardelli, a seasoned gaming executive with over 25 years experience, heads the company's operations in Bossier City, Louisiana. Mr. Ricciardelli has held various executive positions in the Atlantic City, Chicago and Las Vegas markets and most recently was employed by MGM/Mirage. Mr. Ricciardelli has a proven track record of increasing market share while improving operational efficiencies.
Stephen R. Marshall, Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Marshall, a seasoned and well respected gaming executive has spent eleven years working in regional and local gaming markets leads the company’s marketing efforts. Mr. Marshall most recently served as Senior Director of Marketing of the Isle of Capri’s Lula property and has also held various marketing positions with Fitzgerald’s Tunica and Harrah’s Entertainment. Mr. Marshall is a member of the Mississippi Board of Tourism.
Carlos M. Dominguez III, Vice President of Information Technology
Mr. Dominguez is an IT professional with more than 20 years of diversified information technology experience and 12 years of gaming experience in which he has established a strong reputation for team building and leadership. Mr. Dominguez has held various executive positions with numerous gaming companies including Harrah’s, Horseshoe and Majestic Star. Mr. Dominguez is responsible for the operation of the information technology function for the company.
